I'm planning on getting a new Flash Card so my little sister can have my Edge for her NDS. I was thinking of Probably getting an M3DS Real but I think it would best if I got some opinions first, so what do you guys think would be a good flash card?

tough choice at the moment with all the cards available, i got an r4i-sdhc for my brother, but then he`s gadget illiterate so needed somethin simple, had an acecard 2i which is an excellent card when used with the Akaio firmware. Currently using a DSONEi took me a while to get used to it but its a nice card and i just ordered a DSTWO which i know will take a while to reach its full potential but i will have it ready.

It all depends on what u want from it, i got the DSONEi for the real time saves, the DSTWO because of the GBA emulator and the ability to play video easier.. a lot of friends went for the cyclods because of the regular updates.... is it just me or is this choice gettin more difficult, a lot of the newer cards offer the same features so it comes down to updates and cost

to bad the gba emulator on the dstwo sucks, it's based on the iplayer gba emulator and that one has alot of trouble with gba roms :(

i wonder if the snes emulator wil work on dstwo, because the homebrew emulators on the ds for the snes suck big time

i'm really happy with my acekard 2i (akaio firmware) and play my gba game with ez flash 3 in 1 expansion pack and 99,5 % of the gba roms work :D

I've used an original R4, then a "R4-Clone" named N5.
After that I got an M3i Zero (but the card bus has a failure on electronic, with a tedious "paper trick" to do every time... cry )

Now I've got ad AceKard2i card (loading system AK-AIO 1.6 RC2) and I'm pretty happy :yaylite:

At this point, I am looking at getting an Acekard myself, I have an M3i Zero, and I would have to advise against it. The updates have been taking forever, and lately there's been games listed as "fixed" that still don't work. I don't know much about the AKAIO FW, but I assume the updates are often. I don't know anything about the DSTWO yet...

I have an m3real and I was rather happy with it until recently compatibility went down and what unopepito said happened. Also the microSD spring broke after a few months; I was able to fix it, but in the process of opening the cart up a few times some of the plastic clamps broke and now it´s rather wobbely. I´m going for an AK2i too, mostly because I´m about to upgrade to a DSi, the cycloDS is also often recommended for the original DS (lite).

If your using a DSi or DSi XL I would suggest getting an Acekard 2i. They are only $12 and with the AKAIO firmware it is the best card. I also have an m3i zero, it is not spring loaded so I need to be careful about not inserting the micro sd card too deep. It is also a huge battery hog compared to the Acekard 2i and there are quite a few problems with crashing when enabling cheats or real time save. Acekard 2i does not have real time save which is the only missing feature (it is a future possibility though), it does not work with most new games with the m3i zero anyway. I have never had to use what people call "the paper trick" with my m3i zero but I would still recommend the Acekard 2i.

Thanks for the advise, now I know not to get the m3i zero but I don't really plan on getting a dsi anyway so its good. I think I may consider on getting an Acekard 2. Umm, a few quick questions, while researching on the m3 real I noticed something called the GBA Expansion pack. Can that be counted as the expansion pack needed for the ds internet browser thing? Also what exactly is real time save. Oh and lets say for example I move my sav files from the edge/r4 sdhc to the Acekard 2 or m3 real, would the saves still work?

Thanks again guys!
