Yay this is the first topic of this section! Anyways, to those who own Nintendogs+Cats, I have a question: My poodle knows 9 tricks which are enough to enter the professional contest, but at one point, they want me to make my dog lie down for 5 seconds straight without getting up. I always lose this one. How can I train him to stay lying down for long periods of time? Thanks.

Guess Nintendo thinks otherwise. You need to buy/choose a dog first, then you can buy a cat. Correct me if I'm wrong, read this from a review of the game.

Yeah I'm moar like a cat person, but like you said, you need to choose a dog first and buy a cat afterwards.
