You can use Wifi with ROMs just as if it's the original game. So there's no need to worry.

There's only one ROM that I know about that won't work online, it's called Jam with the Band. But nothing will happen, you'll just get an error message.

naavadi, it's nice that you're so active, but I'd like to ask you to keep all your questions in one thread for now. Then it's easier for us to answer them.  pleased

All roms should work online if you are using WAIO or WoodR4, even YSMenu with latest patch, Pokemon Black does work, and I can fully do a Game Sync and battle online. So if you have an R4 use WoodR4, if you have a clone like N5 use WAIO.

Your friend is totally wrong, if Nintendo wants to bust every flashcart user, then they will stay busting for 10 years, think of it logically.

oh man... naavadi, where'd you come from? Kaskus? Indowebster?
fyi, these guys just spitting whatever they want to make their post leveled. You shouldn't believe anything they said without a proof(including ds infected with virus, and downgrading dsi firmware on the shop {which is seriously... you can't})

for your case, what MJaoune said is true. Except if you still using that GE Flashcart you ask earlier on the other thread. The Wi-Fi won't work.
I think you can try patching the rom with our Rom Tool which you can find here: http://www.ds-scene.net/?s=viewtopic&nid=11056
see if it's working or not. If it's not get new flashcart like what MJaoune said.

kesadisan, can you please tell me if WoodR4 or WAIO are hosted at DS-scene? If yes can you post the link?

Best,
MJaoune

Shopkeepers nearly always tell these kinds of lies, so you wouldn't pirate games and instead buy them in that shop. Your friend probably heard that lie from a shopkeeper, too.

Anyway, have you got Pokémon Black to work yet?

+1 to Nathan, Shopkeeper are those user from Kaskus or Indowebster that usually know more bullshit rather than the real stuff. Usually they never play on other forum like this forum for example.

also, to Nathan, the shop here are actually selling rom, and hit it with a price about a bucks, 3 games. Usually pre-patched, so their flashcart like GEi, or R4 can work just fine.
These shops also believe that DSTWO, Acekard, and CycloDS is not as good as R4. It's normal here. Stupid eh?

oh aslo Acekard 2 here are priced about $30-$50.
