One of the first user-friendly libraries, and definatelly the most extensive one - PALib seems to have met its final destination. The site appears to be closed down and there is no disclaimer as to whether it is closed indefinatelly or not. Judging from the lack of a maintainer and simply the fact that the library became bloated and outdated, it is unlikely that we will ever see the site again. This obviously marks an end of an era in DS Homebrew development and I suppose the occasion warrants a minute of silence.

Rest in peace, PALib - you shall be remembered.

We'll see more of such dead links soon. It's over.  :drunk:

I have the latest edition zipped up on my HDD, just in case I'll ever need it again. It's sad that the humble beginnings of Homebrew on the DS will fade in time like that, we should archive as much of it as possible.

PAlib.info still seems to (barely, occasionally) work.

I'll make a news post about this tomorrow (unless someone else beats me to it), first need to get some sleep.

Thanks for the notice, it's a sad day for DS homebrew development indeed.

Oh yeah, PALib.info does work, but the wiki often suggests using functions that have been deprecated and are no longer in-use in version 10. Using it as a refference will cause bugs upon bugs, it's far more convinient to use the Help file that was bundled with version 10, as it is "up to date" and will not guide you into a corner.

Any chance for you to put that copy up for download somewhere?

Wait what...are they nuts...they really try to force me to stop using PALib =_=
Oh gods...I'm not going to rewrite projects to any other library, it would take too much time, I can do new ones if any will come to my mind...tough for now the Clash of Gods project is the one that I'm focused on...
I will archive PALib from Foxi4 link as well and upload it somewhere else too...or just keep in safe if anyone will need it...shesh this is so bad day...
