I was wondering if anyone could offer a suggestion as to the best / easiest ways to either transfer a .sav file onto a legit DS cart or rip/backup a save file on a legit DS cart on my computer. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

You can use the R4i SDHC Save Dongle for that.
