There used to be a WiFi mod, but Nintendo figured out how to block WFC access.

| I understand that what they blocked was fake Pokemon GTS's. If you run a certain version of Desmume with the proper bios and firmware files, you can connect to WFC. The details are on GBAtemp. Nintendo actually thinks that the emulator is a real DS because it's using the real firmware.  Needless to say, since posting of ROMs is banned, I won't be linking to the firmware, anyone who wants it will have to find it themselves.
