Good question...I think NES or SNES emulator has such function GB/GBC doesn't have one, author doesn't give a sign of life so it's not about he can't do that he just won't do that Not sure how about other emus~

I mean like emulators you run on a flash cart. I found out nesDS supports multiplayer if two people both have nesDS and one person selects Start Game and the other Join Game.
However it probably needs router nearby and both DS must be in same network Coding direct connection is not that easy, I myself am dealing with that problem for some time

There used to be a WiFi mod, but Nintendo figured out how to block WFC access.
I understand that what they blocked was fake Pokemon GTS's. If you run a certain version of Desmume with the proper bios and firmware files, you can connect to WFC. The details are on GBAtemp. Nintendo actually thinks that the emulator is a real DS because it's using the real firmware.
Needless to say, since posting of ROMs is banned, I won't be linking to the firmware, anyone who wants it will have to find it themselves.
