So people, im thinking about doing a port of the Gens emulator to the DS, which seems to not be so complicated and impossible (jenesis on NDS works nice, but is too faulty, like cutting lines using scalling), but i would like some help for where i should start?
I know a lot about C#, some *good enough to do something* knowledge on C++ but i dont know a thing about the devkitpro
I would love to have help on start this project

What can I say here... If there is already emulator that works more or less, You have at least guaranty that it's possible Devkitpro is like C/C++ for DS however...

It's not enough... I have same level of knowledge about Bash or Python and I wouldn't call myself Bash or Python programmer... I'm programming for DS platform 6 years or so and I wouldn't call myself "god" here If You want to code for DS, You must be very good at C/C++ (more C) and learn basic information about DS, what it can offer to You, what are it's limits &c.

Ahhh thanks for the info Im studying C++ to do some good programs I already did a very good programming on C++ ... look here in this other forum i actively participate : http://z6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4_PC/index.php?showtopic=20790 I used C++ and DirectX SDk to accomplish that, took me 2 days, but i did something no one cared for do has 10 years or more *-* A DLL Hook/Emulation Btw C isnt similar to C++?
About the basic information of DS, i know a few, not much, but i know many of it's limitations
