Samurai Warriors:Chronicles sequel

We begin with Tecmo Koei´s Samurai Warriors:Chronicles sequel, Samurai Warriors:Chronicles 2nd!!

This game have branching scenarios which allow players to decide what path to take. We´ll have a story flow chart so players can choose various courses for multiple endings.

All new for the sequel is the Moushou Enbu mode. This mission-based mode supports local multiplayer play, and internet rankings.

Of course the game will have new generals, Takatora Toudou and Munenori Yagyu and a mysterious female general.

Samurai Warriors Chronicle 2nd will be released on September 13 but there are already rumours it will not leave Japan!!  scream

One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP2 confirmed for Europe

Namco Bandai has announced today One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP2 for Europe, this game come to the stores on July 27.
We can count on over 12 playable characters, 15 bosses, and more.

Guild 02 first details

Quote
Joining the creator list from earlier in the day, we have first details on Guild 02's included games, via Famitsu and flying get source Sinobi.

As we detailed earlier, Level-5's followup to Guild 01 features another all-star list of creators. The original Guild 01 had (or will have, when it's released next week) games from Suda 51, Yasumi Matsuno and Yoot Saito. Guild 02 has games from Keiji Inafune, Kazu Ayabe and the duo of Takemaru Abiko and Kazuya Asano.

Famitsu lists one game each from these creators:

Alone
From Takemaru Abiko and Kazuya Asano, creators of such ChunSoft visual novels as Otogiriso and Kamaitachi no Yoru. You play as a character who awakens in the dark, having lost his memory. In this short-form suspense game, you'll explore such questions as "Who am I," "Where am I" and "What is happening?"

Mushikera Sensha
Keiji Inafune's contribution to Guild 02 is an action game whose name translates to something along the lines of "Bug Tank." Set in World War II, you control a tank that has been converted to mini size. You'll face off in battle against giant insects.

Kaijuu ga Deru Kinyoubi
Kazu Ayabe, maker of Sony's My Summer Vacation series, is working on Kaijuu ga Deru Kinyoubi, whose name roughly translates to "The Friday When The Monsters Appear." The game is set in the Showa Era (60s) in a town where giant heroes and monsters have become popular amongst children. Every Friday, monsters appear in the town.

It's unclear if this is the full set of titles for Guild 02. Guild 01 has four games.

Buyers of Guild 01 will find some connectivity with Guild 02. In Guild 02, you'll get passwords which can be input into Guild 01 to unlock passwords which can be used to unlock content in Guild 02.

I think the first game in sales is about two siblings who don´t get along until one of them discover the other´s secret, the other being an otaku, then they become each other confident or something like that.

Famitsuu score for DQMTnW3D:
"Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry no Wonderland 3D (3DS, Square Enix): 10, 9, 9, 8 - (36/40)"

36/40 - not bad at all! <3

Sorry, by internet logic, this game is meh. A game to play when you're recovering from invasive surgery.

Haha, Famitsuu sucks anyway. All the games they give full score are MEH. 32-37 is usually the range where the game might be actually good. Any higher than that and it's probably over-rated. Anyways, I'm gonna enjoy the game like heck and that's what matters. :D Screw intaanettorojikku.

Actually I don't check them much, when ever I do, it seems the games are always 36-40. I can't recall ever seeing a game score less than that.

Who cares about anything other than the odd interesting fact or two in reviews anyway?

Indeed. I used to read game magazines but for some reason they started to irritate the heck outta me. Japanese ones aren't a whole lot better. Too much irrelevant crap. Famitsuu gives way too high scores nowadays, almost all high profile games are 38-40, so their credibility is kinda bad. It's nice to have some kind of pointer though, especially with 3DS games where "sneak peek (read: flashcard)" isn't possible.
