DS-Scene/wii.ds-scene both needs a new theme/layout the sites are getting old and slowly dying sinds the ds L/i/XL and wii are breaking down piece for piece it may now be time for a new future with a better focus on the 3DS and WiiU
and also maybe by changing the site names? to example 3ds-scene.net and wiiu-3dscene.net (it are examples)
and hopefully by changing and making new things we might get some more supporters/members etc...
we are closely coming to 2013 so DS-Scene users show the world that we are ready for a new fresh year

Seriously though, I'd avoid asking for money unless I was living in a box or the site was not generating enough revenue for the amount of visitors. We are still working on something new but because we have such a bespoke forum system that we don't want to lose, it's going to take a while to get everything done that we want and it's literally just me coding and the guys bug testing and helping with the odd thing here and there (which we have not done in a while to be honest).
We don't want to find just "any old" forum software off the net and throw it in as that kind of goes against everything we stand for. Due to me having a 6 month baby to look after and the staff having their own commitments, along with balancing the other stuff life decides to throw at us, you can understand that things around here have come to a bit of a standstill recently.
Rest assured though that we are not going anywhere soon and, next year, I am sure things will calm down a bit and allow us to roll out some of the things we have been working on.
