Hi recently bought a Wood R4i gold 3ds flashcard for a 3DS XL with firmware version 7.2.0-17 which on the r4i gold website says the flash card is compatable with this card.. however when I insert the card in the 3DS it fails to read the card... sometimes resets when I insert the card and sometimes fails to turn on at all with the card inserted. If I try the card on a different DS it works, and I put real games in the 3DS that the card fails with they work fine.. very odd...
Thats very odd! I have the same Fireware and r4i card. Maybe it has something to do with the placing of the folders on the SDcard? But I suppose if it works fine on a different DS that cant be it... I just dont see what the problem would be if not a problem with the placing of the files on the SDcard. Have you tried updating the DS? Some people say it causes it to stop working, it may do the opposite for you! I update regardless what the r4i people say... =w=
