Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is one of the most popular and most interactive services on the Internet. Sure, the Web is nice for finding info and E-mail beats snailmail hands down, but when you've been wondering 'where the others are?', then IRC is what you're looking for. IRC is the net's equivalent of CB radio. But unlike CB, Internet Relay Chat lets people all over the world participate in real-time conversations. IRC is where the Net comes alive!
We too have a channel on the IRC Network, more precisely on the EFnet Network. Not only that, but we have Wifi Nights, arrange stuff, talk with Homebrewers, etc.
For those who already know how to use IRC, just go to our channel on EFnet at #DS-Scene, for the others, well, i have made this HOW TO for you guys, just check the images one by one, and you should be ready to roll
Just Press Continue!
Put your NickName (DS-Scene one if possible)
Choose the EFnet Irc Network, then Connect to the server
Write #DS-Scene in the box, or in the place where you write, write /join #(name of the channel), something like /join #DS-Scene, in order to enter our channel
Thats what i tried in there, to make it very simple and easy to understand, that way any person that doesnt even know how to use very well the internet/pc can enter and talk with us, homebrewers, etc
I would like to thank Ferret as he gave me excelent advices onto turning the guide even better, grats to him too
