How can you mix up Daisy with Pauline.
Daisy has a yellow dress.
Peach has a pink one.

How can you mix up Daisy with Pauline.

I didn't know who Daisy was, so when I saw her for the first time I dismissed her as the 'princess that Donkey Kong kidnapped or something.'

Pauline was never a princess.
Pauline was the lady that Donkey Kong kidnapped in the game Donkey Kong.

Peach first showed up during Super Mario Bros as the princess from the World 8 castle.
