smealum has released another update to his port of the popular game Minecraft. This version includes many bug fixes and new additions, such as ladders, doors and a new control scheme.

added mapUpdate, a program to recalculate some lighting values to work better with 310811

fixed inventory-opening crash
fixed moon
fixed menu glitch
fixed edge related bugs
many other various bugfixes
Note: For those who'd made worlds in previous versions : they will still be compatible with 310811, but lighting will be a little messed up. To fix that, all you have to do is run mapUpdate on your map files and they should look nice again. Sorry about that, but I didn't really have a choice.
Of course it isn't that bad! If you hear the concept of Minecraft, you'd say: "Oh... meh", but it's different when you actually play it. Especially if you're playing survival mode and go build something that way, or if you got a nice team to play multiplayer with It's something you got to try, and you'll be hooked immediately.
Oh, and you start the game by punching a tree til it breaks. How awesome is that?
can someone please explain in detail and simple words how to get this on my ds and working. im not that good at this and please include where the files and names are
1. Download DSCraft 2. Download the homebrew menu 3. Extract everything and put it on your microSD 4. Load up the homebrew menu 5. In the homebrew menu, load up DSCraft
im doing it whithout homebrew menu and i really like the latest version beside of the lags and bugs its a really nice game Pleas makers of minecraft make a port to the 3DS Pleassssssssssss
