Supposedly a new 3DS flashcard has been made called the Crown3DS. So far it can run only one game, Splinter Cell 3D. We don't know if it's the real deal or not, but it definitely looks promising.

Great news! We are proud to announce that: Crown3DS, the first genuine 3DS flashcard in the world, its original testing card now can run 3DS rom game - "splinter cell3d.3ds" on 3DS V2.1.0-4 successfully(see more details in the above youtube video)! Many thanks to all of our developing guys, it couldn't make without their several months hardwork....
Next, we will dump more 3DS rom games, and will do further firmware testing and keep structure design updated for more high compatibility and stability.
The more specific info of Crown3DS card will be released sooner or later, to be expected!
I'd say it's fake. I mean, come on, they put in a cartridge of Splinter Cell and the game that loads is, you guessed it, Splinter Cell. There's not even any operating system or anything. Seems to me like all they did was tape some wires to the game cartridge and insert it in the 3DS.
If it is real, congrats, it just looks very suspicious.
The pictures provided shows that this card is still under development and programming, we can wait and see, I hope the news is not fake, because I am waiting for a flashcard before buying a 3DS.
