Another Amiga classic that´ll stay imprinted in my muscle memory forever. It´s like riding a bicycle. Hail alekmaul.

I´ll never forget that death scream.

We DS homebrew enthusiasts are blessed to have the likes of Alekmaul still showering us with gifts.  This was one of my favourite games from childhood, on the Commodore64.  Alekmaul had mentioned before possibly doing a (better) C64 emulator for the DS.  It may still be on the cards and I really hope it is.

Have you tried using the homebrew menu?

yes, tried launching from other menu (my card) and tried it from NDS menu, both do the same: DLDI compatible......black screen
ERROR: unable to find data files, check that all required files are present!

copied the .NDS on root of memory card.

I'd really appreciate some help, mainly because i love amiga/st games on my humble DS.

yes

No. You haven´t. Again: Download Homebrew Menu, put it on the root of your microSD card, run Homebrew Menu from "the other menu (your card)", from inside Homebrew Menu run Rick Dangerous II. Got it? Run the game inside HB menu running from your M3 filebrowser ("the other menu").

Hey Guy.Brush,

Thanks for that, I never heard of Homebrew menu, thought everyone meant the M3 real file browser! lol.

I'll give it a try, thanks again for the assistance :)

No problem ;P

I´m an M3real relict myself. Whenever a homebrew won´t work try launching it from HB menu. In case of some older ones you´ll have to launch it via a slot2 device (EZflash 3in1 etc.), but here the HBmenu should do the trick.
