It's Nobunaga no Yabou! With Pocket Monsters! Sounds.... pretty boring, but I liked the trailer a whole lot. This could be a nice distraction while waiting for Kid Icarus: Uprising. The game doesn't even use kanji, and Famitsuu said it's "easy to play" so booyah, a new Pokémon game to play that hopefully doesn't suck like that dreadful typing one.

Wow, the R0* size really is 2048Mbit, even though the packed size was a lot smaller. Nice indeed!

Still, it feautures katakana, which I don't know (I only know how to read hiragana, and imo it's way easier than katakana).

I learnt katakana and hiragana at the same time, I just kept studying them, learning them by heart. I had this list of kana and if I made a mistake I started from the beginning. And I repeated this process many times. When I was pretty sure I remembered all the kana I begun writing different words and getting to familiarise myself with these weird symbols by pronouncing and writing them again and again. I still can't write kanji though, I know some basic ones but if someone asks me to write a certain kanji that's no good. But I do recognise a lot of kanji, and I am able to play most Japanese games without big problems. Even those that use lots of kanji. But I usually need the speech also. I'm an audative learner and a very slow Japanese reader, and I usually get bored with games that use lots of kanji but doesn't have speech. My listening comprehension is a whole lot better than writing or reading. Can't say I properly know Japanese, but I still can do a lots of things with it. Like play games, which is, in my opinion, the best thing. Oh, and I can also read manga (with furigana) and watching anime is easy too, so hey. Just don't make me read novels or write kanji and everyone is happy.

Yeah, without furigana I would be nowhere with reading manga. wink But yeah, my listening is also way better than my reading, becuase I know words that I cannot write.

Looks like the fix is out there somewhere. It might not be long before people can actually play this. :) Guess it is time to play some Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable while waiting for that to happen.
