Oh that is ironic XD I remember before I got my DSi that the Acekard 2i was the only card marketed to work on the DSi. I got one just for that reason^^

I know there are some YouTube videos of people trying out a variety of cards on a Japanese DSI XL. Most of them worked and if the European version still works...

Not that i'd get one anyway, I wait patiently for the DS2 or whatever they will call it

::EDIT:: Oh and just for those that don't know, the US release of the DSI XL will be retailed at $189.99. After taxes, it will be about the same price as the Wii currently. May want to think about that :o
