Very handy for homebrew developers as this defeats the need to keep removing SD media in and out of the pc every 10 mins.

I doubt it, most likely it's the same as DarkEZ's launcher. It'll leech 1 file from the server and launch it. The name of the file to leech is specified in the downloader.txt
Can you download non-homebrew, but commercial ds games with this?
You can download any file with this. But if you so choose to download a commercial rom with it, let me know how it goes because you'll be there for awhile waiting.

i have not tried it yet but i would like to prematuraly say thank you my ds is broken so that the game card will slowly liftout so after 20 min the game will freeze so i keep tape o it so it won't do that it is a hassle to take it off update my ds then tape it back on THANKS!
