You can now safely update your emuNAND partition to 7.1, reports were coming in that 7.+ didn't work correctly on 2.0b1. But that has now been fixed, I myself have safely updated and I can access the eShop and Miiverse now

But yeah, for this to work, the actual NAND on your 3DS should be 4.x as Xenirina said.
