I have just uploaded the most recent version of Take The Eggs for everyone to enjoy. It has taken longer than expected to get this game to this stage but now I am happy to say that the game seems to be complete with the exception of any bugs that people may find.
It is disappointing that I was not able to implement a multiplayer option for this due to several restrictions, the main one bein the current libs, but everything else that I planned to add is now n there including some secrets for you to find.
I hope you enjoy this and be sure to let me know if you notice any bugs.

When we started this project it seemed like quite a task back then heh.
Thanks man. When I first thought of doing this remake, I actually thought it would be finished alot faster than it has. I got a little bored half way through it though hence why there hasn't been a release for a while now but once I got in the mood for working on the characters again, it was full steam ahead.
If anyone manages to unlock the level editor and wants to share some stages, you can grab the stage files from the TakeTheEggs/data/levels/custom_levels folder. They are numbered according to world and level. For example slot A on world 7 would be custom_level_061_tileset.ini and custom_level_061_tileset_Map.bin. When making stages, it is best to place 8 eggs on the map to keep the game consistent although any quantity will work. There are also a few quirks with the level editor but I hope it functions well enough for you to have some fun with it
BigD, the server that website is hosted on is quite overloaded today due to the release of this, over 1.6Gb of Take the Eggs downloaded in the past 24 hours! It's fixed again now, sorry about that.
Whoa whoa this feels like playing commercial game. Awesome work retrohead and triforce. Conversations were entertaining, only thing i'd want to is online mode.. but ye it's not possible yet. Also i'd like to see save function/passwords for levels. I had really problems to get this work on my m3simply again i had to rename the .nds file into 3-character one to get it to make save..i'm thinking it' because my memory card.. but anyways m3simply is crap and not more. Soon getting my AceKard 2.
