Packaging revealed for first DSi-exclusive game
Retail release details on Monster Finder
Alpha Unit have revealed the packaging for Monster Finder, the first DSi-exclusive title to be released at retail in Japan. The 2 grey boxes on the cover state that the software is "DSi Exclusive," while the red text at the bottom of the box clearly states that it cannot be used on DS or DS Lite systems.

Despite the labeling, I really would like to know, how many will buy this product with  only owning a DS (Lite) and bitching about it not working...

It will probably only happen with people that order games online. Another thing to take into account is that all retail TWL software is region locked, so this will only work on Japanese DSi's.

Yeah this game is based strictly around the use of the DSi camera.

A note about the resolution, something i've seen a lot of people confused over.
DSi game resolution is no bigger than standard DS. All DSi games "so far" have used 256x192 pixels per screen, the image just gets stretched out to fit the DSi larger screens. The same thing happens when running a standard DS game on a DSi, it's just up-scaled as far as i know.

Btw, even the DSi firmware is 256x192, same as DS/DS lite
