Hm.. tried the code as instructed on that thread. But it's still stuck on a white screen and that's it....

*EDIT**

Hmmm.. I guess you can't rename the DS file or else it won't work?

**EDIT II**

Okay. I"m just stupid. It works this time around. Sorry. < <

I'm using a non-clone R4... the hex works.
However, as someone mentioned already, it also freezes on random points. Just save after maybe each conversation when possible... then save.

The first freeze point was after you open the locker and read a certain letter and Hyde puts it away.
Just simply reset the game reload. It will go through without freezing.

/// THE UNIVERSAL CHILD'S PLAY PATCH WAS UPDATED!! ///

How to play " Last Window: Mayonaka no Yakusoku " on your DSTT and R4

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe. That's all.

Note:
This path is not only for "Last Window". "Last Window" is one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.

The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

Credit to Rudolph.   chill
