3 Promotional videos for Hudson's new DSiWare title "Aaa no Natsukashi no Shooting Watch" literally translated as: Ahh, Nostalgic Shooting Watch. Very similar in concept to the Shooting Watch DS homebrew that retrohead and myself put together in 2007, even as far as using the same choice in Star Soldier and Bomberman music. I'm unsure if the tracks in the videos are actually in the game though.
On a side note, i wanted to go back to Shooting Watch DS and give it major update in the graphics department, to make it look more on par with a commercial game. I had mockup graphics ready and a new website in mind, but i doubt i will go ahead with any of that now. We are lucky enough to not have had a takedown notice from Hudson so far, and i hope it can stay that way.
The official version releases on April 28th in Japan for 200 points, and amazingly it's said to be coming to Europe sometime in May. If pushing a button as fast as you can interests you, and you haven't tried Shooting Watch DS yet, then head over to http://files-ds-scene.net/shooting_watch/ and download it for free. Don't forget to show your support for Hudson by downloading the game on DSiWare at a later date.
lol for date on the video looks like an april fool for the date, but real deal anyway...
the interface are better compared to old Homebrew one, I mean more Watch-fied, since the button is on the machine, not on the touchscreen updating the homebrew to mock up the real one would be cool
anyway... love that remix

For Those who don't know what is Shooting Watch, Shooting watch originally created by Hudson, since Tri and other ppl love how Meijin can Push button 16 Times in 1 Seconds with a game watch called Shooting Watch, many ppl try to break the record by using the machine, unfortunately the Shooting Watch is super rare, and already produced again since the 20th Anniversary of Shooting Watch, but in Limited Production (see Shooting Watch DS) later Tri decided to create a homebrew based on this Gamewatch, with Retrohead Shooting Watch DS was born...
Since Shooting Watch is small game, I think Hudson never created the game via Cart... instead after DSi born with DSiWare, Hudson decided to put this on DSiShop, not a copy of Tri Homebrew at all...

It's not a copy of the homebrew, Shooting Watch is property of Hudson. On the splash screen of the homebrew we actually put "Original concept by Hudson" The idea for the homebrew was just to have a shooting watch on the DS.
To be honest i was expecting much more from the official DSiWare game. I would like to have seen stuff like a caravan shooting mode added, which could have included some of the old PC-Engine 2 and 5 minute gameplay modes from the soldier series. You cant really argue for 200 points though.
